What is Redistricting? How does it effect your community and organizing?Come and learn about: the history of redistricting, the aspects of redistricting, time lines for effective community participation in the process, hands on redistricting map-making, to familiarize participants on how to draw your own community plans.
Southwest Workers Union with special guests Southern Echo from Mississippi, will be hosting the ‘Texas Redistricting School’. This training is for grassroots, social justice based organizations and leaders, which have an interest in being apart of the redistricting process in Texas.
